Recent City Ordinances restricting ice chest size, beer bongs and jello shots DO NOT APPLY on the Guadalupe River outside of city limits. Call your outfitter for the most recent information, and please spread the word!

Important River Information

* Please do not litter - $200 fine
* Trash bags are provided by your outfitter
* No glass or styrofoam on the river $500 fine
* Please do not tresspass on private property
* Do not take keys or valuables - they can get lost
* Use sun protection - hats, sunglasses, suncreen
* River shoes are recommended
* Use life jackets for children

Spring is here and a record summer is expected for River Road campgrounds and outfitters. Recent rainfall has replenished the water in our beloved Canyon Lake. Release rates are presently excellent for rafting on the Guadalupe River. Excellent water flow is expected to continue from Memorial Day to well after the season's end. Camping right now is the best it has been in several years, Great water, great weather, and great times are here for your enjoyment in our special part of the Texas Hill Country. Many businesses are open full time, or on weekends. Please check with your favorite outfitter, campground or cabin rental for availability and reservations, and river info.
